"Backrooms: Abandoned Reality" is a thrilling video game where you find yourself trapped in a maze of interconnected backrooms, with a menacing monster as your only enemy.
Your mission is to collect valuable data from three different computers scattered throughout the maze and upload it to the main computer to unlock the elevator that leads to freedom. With a randomly generated map, every playthrough is unique, and your survival depends on your ability to outsmart the monster and collect the data before it's too late.
Can you escape the backrooms and evade the monster's grasp in this abandoned reality? Play now to find out!

For "an experiment created by a novice developer for educational purposes." with a warning I shouldn't "expect a polished product." This was quite good!
The part where the lights all turn off was actually very well done, as I was siking myself out constantly turning my flashlight on and off trying not to attract this "menacing monster". Also, when I first heard the noises of it's foot steps I lost my mind and started running the other direction and turned to hide in a corner for a couple seconds with my flashlight turned off!
But, I may as well say one thing I don't like much about this game. I don't like the room's generation. It's fine for what is is, but it mostly feels like a random assortment of walls rather than a place with rooms and or corridors. But I'm okay enough with how it is now.
I'd give Backrooms: Abandoned Reality a:
8.5/10 - Spooky scary!
I'd suggest adding settings to the game so that players can change things like the mouse sensitivity.
Had some fun, its backrooms so had to check it out! Gave me a little chills, the evil clanking entity was entertaining and a camping jerk haha, took me a second to figure out the computer hints and liked the progress of how the atmosphere changed as you progressed. I think my only major issue was the sandpaper walls that majorly slowed you down but not a game breaker, good job Sorrow Statement, good luck on your future projects!
